FIRST, dfsldkfjalsk thank you. ‘_’ AND THIS WHEN I’VE HARDLY WRITTEN ANYTHING AT ALL IN THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF. /blushes and ducks head oh gosh

And second, since you asked and therefore I’m hoping you won’t mind (and anytime someone asks a writer what they are currently working on I can only hope that they have already braced themselves for a long, babbling tl;dr answer XD), this is the list of my current WIPs:

All Roads Lead to Rome - This is a 5YL!fic (as in five years after start of series, so Tsuna and co. are eighteen, and certain stupid cows have just turned ten), and basically the plot is something along the lines of “After a surprise attack leaves them stranded in Italy, Gokudera, Ryohei, and Lambo must make their way from the Cinque Terre to Naples while struggling to not get killed by the MYSTERIOUS UNKNOWN ENEMIES? who are tracking them.” I had this whole fucking thing planned out and there was angst and car chases and a fight on a train and all the Gokudera/Lambo interaction I’d ever wanted in a fic but no one had ever written it so I had finally decided to do it myself. I made it about ten thousand words in, but the more I wrote the more frustrated I got with my own writing, and I finally got so aggrivated that I stopped. There are huge chunks of the fic that I feel need a complete rewrite before I can go any further, but I kind of lost momentum on it. XD One of these days, though… hopefully. I mean, it would suck to write 10,000 words of something and then never have it see the light of day, you know?

YAMAPAPA FIC - So the basic outline of this one is “YAMAMOTO DISCOVERS THAT HE’S ADOPTED AND GOES TO ITALY TO LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT HIMSELF!!” As one may surmise if they have read some of my previous fics, I have a giant weakness for Yamamoto angst, and as one may also surmise by reading the WIP blurb right above this one, I also have an insatiable urge to set a fic in goddamn Italy. Currently the fic is still in vague outline stages, but the idea was to send Yamamoto (…and Gokudera >_> YAMAMOTO NEEDS A BUDDY TO GO ON HIS DETECTIVE JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY OKAY, and realistically, he could also use someone who speaks fucking Italian lulz) on… well, a detective journey of self discovery, by starting out with a letter from his mother that Tsuyoshi saved for him all these years, which leads him to one place, which leads him to another place, and so on. And as they go along they find more and more clues—she was in the mafia, she was killed somehow, and all these other people connected with her suddenly died under mysterious circumstances at around roughly the same time. And all of this is interspersed with flashbacks showing all of this actually happening and spoilers spoilers, at the very end we find out (and Yamamoto finds out but doesn’t tell anyone else :’D) that REBORN IS THE FATHER. WHEEE.

I lost a little momentum on this one when the current arc started focusing SUPER HARD on /Tsuna’s father-son relationship with Reborn, though. Lol. It just seemed like really awkward timing, so it’s been put on the back-burner for now. :P

GRITTY ANGST REBOOT - This is my most recent idea/fic/thing, and the plot is basically “Someone tries to destroy the world. And damn near succeeds. And somehow Tsuna and co. are the ONLY ONES who can stop them, but the odds are STACKED AGAINST THEM, and they’re running out of time, and things are getting prettttttty angsty and desperate, and also it’s the fucking apocalypse so there is a lot of devastation and just SO, SO MANY BUILDINGS BEING DESTROYED. Like, you have no idea.” Idk, I REALLY REALLY WANT TO WRITE THIS? And KHR canon has a lot of handy built-in plot devices to assist me so it’s been pretty easy so far to plot out. Most of my work is already done for me. :P This one is also still in the planning stages, though, but I’ve started on the prologue.

The Bachelor - Last but not least, this is the most recent crackfic I’ve been working on. Basically, Reborn decides one day that Tsuna needs to find himself a proper suitor, and enlists Gokudera to basically host a gameshow devoted to figuring out who should be Tsuna’s spouse. It’s pretty much the dumbest thing ever, so naturally I am having entirely too much fun with it. I’m closing in on the end of this one, it’ll be roughly around 3,000 words. Maybe I’ll work on it some more this weekend.

…anyway, so yeah! I am still writing. Just… failing at it a lot more than usual. :’D But thank you for asking, I’m really flattered that anyone’s even interested, though with this massive bore of a post I may have just ruined that, lol. Oh well.
